George Reilly participates in AICPA Business Valuation Expert Witness Skills Program as a Judge

April 29, 2011

At the invitation of the American Institute of CPAs, on April 29, 2011 George acted in the role of a judge in a mock trial held at the conclusion of the three day program in Washington D.C. The program participants were CPAs honing their skills as business and damages evaluators and appraisers.

Among the skills they worked on was testifying as an expert witness at trial. Practicing attorneys examined the participants as witnesses on both direct and cross-examination, and George acted as the judge controlling the courtroom and ruling on disputes to give the participants a sense of a real courtroom.
